So, this is what happens if you get in touch.
For us, everything starts with what we refer to as a Coffee Conversation.
This is not a “Sales Meeting”.
Do we want to do as much business as possible? Actually no, we don’t.
Do we want to work with people and companies we admire and know we can support in a meaningful way? Absolutely. All day long. We speak about “Coffee Conversations” because that’s what this first step needs to be. A conversation.
A chat. Where we find out more about you. And you about us.
We will sit down with you (in whatever format works best for you) and do our best to understand how we can support.
We’ll ask a LOT of questions. We’ll take a lot of notes. And we’ll listen.
We’ll listen to make sure we understand the issues you are facing. And we’ll ask more questions to ensure we’re separating root-causes from symptoms.
Sometimes there’s another coffee…
We won’t be afraid to ask hard questions.
We’ll share some examples of where we have come across similar challenges in the past. And what we did in those cases. Mindful that every situation is different.
And at the end of this conversation we will give an honest view on how we feel we can support you.
And if we feel we can’t support you, we’ll tell you that too.
On the basis that we feel we can bring value to your organisation, we will suggest sending you a short (always short!) document based on what we have heard over the course of our discussion.
This document will contain a proposed solution, a timeline for delivery, bios for the people who would be involved in the delivery of the work, associated commercials and some mutual Ways of Working that we commit to, and ask all of our clients to commit to also (again, this will be a short document!).
We speak again, typically 1 week later and answer all questions you have about the document we have sent you.
After this, if you’re happy with what we have proposed, we both sign up to it and the project commences on the date agreed.
Sometimes, all we ever do with a new client is that short, initial project where we were asked to fix a specific challenge. We go in, solve the problem and we move on.
Other times, based on the results we deliver, we are asked by the client to look at something else.
But that’s a separate discussion and a separate Coffee Conversation!
We would love to have that first coffee so get in touch to start the conversation.
